Knut Klimmek founded the business in 1986, having graduated from the world re-knowned John Makepeace School for Craftsmen in Wood. Responsible for the design and customer liason aspect of the business, he is happy to discuss any potential project with prospective clients.
Nigel Henderson joined the business in 1991, having represented Ireland at the international Skill Olympics in Birmigham 1990. He is in charge of the production side of the business spending most of his day on the workshop floor leading a team of skilled craftsmen, and implementing the exacting standards of craftsmanship which our clients demand.
Siobhan Klimmek looks after the financial side of the business. She took on a full time role in the business in 1989, as the company grew, leaving a successful career in branch banking with Bank of Ireland. She is a terrier when it comes to credit control (you have been warned)

With 20 years of experience in the design and manufacture of furniture to commission, Klimmek & Henderson bring to each project, an open mind and a wealth of creativity.

Our team of skilled and motivated craftsmen are comfortable working in both solid timber and decorative veneers and it is the process of making a piece of furniture by hand that allows us to select and match the best materials for each project, ensuring an attention to detail which is second to none.

From conceptualisation to material selection and design development, we involve and guide each client through every aspect of a project, ensuring that every piece is unique and fits perfectly into the intended surroundings.

"We recognise that for many customers commissioning a piece of furniture is in many ways a leap of faith, but with our many years of experience and proven creativity we make the processes as transparent and effortless as possible."
